The TECNO Spark 9T is now available with the Helio G37 SoC, a 90Hz display, and a 5,000mAh battery

TECNO announced the Spark 9 Pro in early June, with some intriguing features for an entry-level smartphone. A 90 Hz display, Helio G85 CPU, and a large 5,000 mAh battery were among the highlights. Spark 9T, a significantly less expensive member of the Spark family, has now been added to the Spark family.

The TECNO Spark 9T is an ultra-affordable smartphone whose main selling point is its low price for what it offers, particularly in terms of battery life. However, there is no support for fast charging.

The all-new Spark 9T features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. A 32-megapixel camera sits in a drop-shaped notch on the front panel, while a triple camera configuration on the back includes a 13-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an AI auxiliary lens.

The new TECNO Spark model comes with a MediaTek Helio G37 CPU, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage that can be upgraded with a microSD card. It contains a 5,000mAh battery unit with 10W quick charging capabilities. The operating system is Android 12 with the HiOS 8.6 UI as standard.

For the time being, the 9T is only available in Nigeria in two storage configurations: 4 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage and 4 GB + 128 GB. The prices are NGN 78,300 (Rs. 8) and NGN 88,000 (Rs. 44,000) for the two models, respectively. Please keep in mind that Nigerian pricing are higher than average due to high taxes.

The handset is available in four colours: Atlantic Blue, Turquoise Cyan, Iris Purple, and Cocoa Gold. The TECNO Spark 9T will be available in more African regions before making its way to Asian markets, including Pakistan.
