The Xiaomi 12S, 12S Pro, and 12 Ultra are among the new phones coming to Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone series. Today we have additional information as well as hands-on photographs for the Xiaomi 12S and 12S Pro, both of which have previously shown on Geekbench.
The information comes from Mukul Sharma, a trusted Indian informant who divulged RAM options, chipsets, and fast charging for the two phones. The Xiaomi 12S will only be available in a single Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 variant, but the 12S Pro will also be available in a Dimensity 9000 variant, according to the source.
Both phones will have 8 to 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB of storage, however the 12S Pro’s Dimensity 9000 model will skip the 128GB model. The 12S Pro will also have 120W fast charging, which is one of the world’s quickest smartphone charging speeds.
In addition, the phones’ hands-on photographs revealed Leica branding next to the main camera configuration, indicating that these could be the first Xiaomi phones to use the brand. Aside from that, the design and features of the two phones are believed to be very similar to their non-S siblings.
